My whereabouts

I was born in Curitiba, Brazil. In 1983, I moved to São Borja, in the western boarder of Rio Grande do Sul state with Argentina. In 1991, I moved to Porto Alegre, capital city of Rio Grande do Sul. In 2000, during my Master, I did a five-month research internship in Grenoble at the Laboratoire d'Informatique de Grenoble. From August to December 2002, I was a visiting professor at Universitat Ramon Llull, in Barcelona. Since 2010, I live in Salvador, capital city of Bahia. In November 2016, I moved to London (UK) for a postdoctoral research at the Institute of Health Informatics (University College London). From March 2018 to November 2020, I was back at my job at UFBA (Salvador, Brazil). From February 2021 on, I will be joining the Department of Statistics of the London School of Economics and Political Science.
